Are you noticing these?

Most men notice changes that are easy to put down to getting older.

  • Energy that has quietly dropped off
  • Sleep that no longer restores
  • Focus that takes more effort than it used to
  • Low sex drive or unsatisfying intimacy

Sometimes that is exactly what it is. Often it is not, and it is worth finding out which, with a blood test and a doctor who has the time to look at the whole picture.

Why men choose Apollo Health

Performance first, longevity when you're ready
Start with how you feel and function today, or add the areas that protect your health over the decades ahead. Either way, your doctor looks beyond a single symptom.
A real Health Score, not just a blood test
Your Health Score gives your doctor a clear picture before you even speak, on top of your blood results.
Straight about what telehealth can and can't do
We tell you when telehealth is the right fit and when it isn't. More on that below.
A doctor who isn't watching the clock
Your first consultation is about 45 minutes, with follow ups around 30 minutes.

Two ways to start

Testosterone sits within performance. Choose performance on its own, or add longevity.

Performance

How you feel and function today.

  • Physical performance Strength, energy and recovery
  • Sexual health Drive, performance and intimacy
  • Emotional wellbeing Mood, motivation and sharpness
  • Testosterone and hormones Checked with your blood tests

An initial consultation plus two follow ups over six months, with the option to extend.

Performance and longevity

Everything in performance, plus the decades ahead.

  • Heart and vascular health
  • Hormones and metabolic health
  • Cancer risk and screening Personal and family history
  • Brain health Memory and concentration over time

Your doctor helps you decide which suits you at your first consultation.

How it works

  1. Complete your Health ScoreA confidential online questionnaire, about 15 minutes. It's a starting point, not a diagnosis.
  2. Pay for your consult and get your blood test formThe first consultation is $297. You'll get a pathology request you can take to any pathology clinic in Australia. Most blood tests are billed to Medicare.
  3. Book by video or phoneNo referral needed. Your results go straight to your doctor to review before you meet.
  4. Meet your doctor and get your planAbout 45 minutes. You leave with a personalised plan.

What it costs

$297 for your first consultation, about 45 minutes with an Australian doctor.

  • If you continue with ongoing care, the $297 comes off your first payment.
  • If you decide not to go ahead, you're refunded, minus processing fees.
  • Most blood tests are billed to Medicare. A Medicare rebate of about $65 to $100 may be available if you list Dr Simon Fisher as your GP through MyGov.

Dr Simon Fisher, founder of Apollo Health

Dr Simon Fisher

Apollo Health is Australian, and doctor-founded, doctor-owned and doctor-led. Dr Simon Fisher has been a registered medical practitioner since 1991. He holds an MBBS from Monash University and an MBA, and is registered with AHPRA (MED0001141689).

He started Apollo Health to give men the time and clinical attention a quick appointment rarely allows.

Treatment is decided with your doctor

Any treatment is decided between you and your doctor. The outcome may be advice, referral, further investigation or no treatment. We can't discuss specific medicines on this page, because Australian law doesn't allow prescription medicines to be advertised to the public.

What telehealth can and can't do

Not an emergency service

If you are having a medical emergency, call 000. If you need urgent support, contact your GP or call Lifeline on 13 11 14.

Not your GP

Your GP treats you when you're sick. Apollo Health aims to take you from ok to optimal, and can keep your GP in the loop with a yearly letter if you'd like.

Private by design

Your information is handled in line with the Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles.

Questions before you book

Do I need a referral?

No. You can book directly, by video or phone, from anywhere in Australia.

What's the difference between performance and longevity?

Performance covers how you feel and function today: physical performance, sexual health and emotional wellbeing, including checks such as testosterone. Performance and longevity adds heart and vascular health, metabolic health, cancer risk and screening, and brain health.

What does the performance program include?

An initial consultation with an Australian registered doctor, plus two follow up consultations over six months, with the option to extend. Your doctor arranges the right blood tests and talks you through the results.

What does it cost?

The first consultation is $297. If you continue with ongoing care it comes off your first payment. If you don't go ahead, you're refunded minus processing fees.

Is any of it covered by Medicare?

Most blood tests are billed to Medicare, so you may pay nothing for them. A Medicare rebate of about $65 to $100 on the consult may be available if you list Dr Simon Fisher as your GP through MyGov. That option isn't available if you've already named a GP there.

Is the Health Score a diagnosis?

No. It's a confidential questionnaire of about 15 minutes that gives your doctor a starting point. The diagnosis comes from your blood tests and your consultation.

Will I be put on testosterone?

Only if it's right for you. Any treatment is decided between you and your doctor after your results, and the outcome may be advice, referral, further investigation or no treatment.

Where do you see patients?

Everything is by telehealth, so men anywhere in Australia can use Apollo Health. You can do your blood test at any pathology clinic in Australia.

Who will I speak to?

A doctor trained and registered in Australia. Apollo Health was founded by Dr Simon Fisher, a registered medical practitioner since 1991.

Is my information private?

Yes. It's handled in line with the Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles, and isn't shared with third parties except as set out in Apollo Health's privacy policy.

Can I keep seeing my own GP?

Yes. Apollo Health isn't your GP and doesn't replace one. If you'd like, your doctor can send your GP a letter each year so they stay in the loop.

Ready for a proper look?

No referral, no waiting room. Start online today, from anywhere in Australia.
